Aude Motulsky, PhD
Aude Motulsky is a professor at Université de Montréal’s School of Public Health (Department of Health Management, Evaluation and Policy) and a research scientist at the Centre académique de santé de l’Université de Montréal. She is deputy director of the Santé numérique Consortium and co-director of LabTNS – Transformation numérique en santé. Her research activities focus on analyzing the adoption, implementation and effects of digital clinical records, such as electronic medical records (EMRs), computerized clinical records (CCRs), the Dossier santé Québec (DSQ) and related functionalities. The focus is on the factors that facilitate and limit the use and usability of these tools, as well as the interpretability of shared clinical data throughout the patient care trajectory. The aim is to develop analytical capabilities for clinical, management and research purposes. Her work also focuses on technologies for optimizing drug use, such as electronic prescribing and computerized medication reconciliation. She is also interested in semantic interoperability and terminology standards, particularly in relation to drug use, usage patterns and efficacy and safety profiles.
