Pleased to share a preliminary agenda for our upcoming HYBRID course in Digital Health, organized as part of McGill Summer Institutes in Global Health and supported by MUHC RI, PORTENT center and key global agencies.

We are honored to announce that Dr Soumya Swaminathan, former CSO of WHO will open the course and talk about Governance and Ethics that she worked on at the WHO, and the current lead of Digital Health at the Gates Foundation, Dr Brey will talk about evidence based initiatives and lead of Digital health at FIND, Geneva will talk about digital Dx initaitives and our very own Mr Gilbert Torjman will talk about Quebec’s digital health transformation,
We have also invited academic and industry leads from local, national and global institutions.
This course intends to spark insightful, thoughtful and in-depth conversations in digital health and machine learning, focusing on themes. On day 1, we focus on evidence-based approaches for evaluation and scientific basis to guide implementation of digital health/machine learning based solutions and frameworks for ethics & Governance. On day 2, we focus on merits & demerits of newer ml/digital technologies (beyond the hype). On day 3, we focus on a social impact, public health and clinical impact driven by start-ups (local and global).
Key opinion leaders and thought leaders from global agencies, key foundations, key national agencies, academics, and industry, will aim to offer a balanced viewpoint on the very many issues concerning digital health transformation.
The course aims to plug gaps in courses currently offered elsewhere. It is very reasonably priced, for our mission is to educate, inform, and inspire!
