RSN Interdisciplinary Training Needs & Landscape in Digital Health

The objective of this survey is to evaluate and document the experiences of students, researchers, and health professionals in accessing interdisciplinary digital health training¹ and their perceived quality.

Individuals at any career stage are welcome to complete the survey.

We define “interdisciplinary training” as learning opportunities that bring together a range of perspectives and domains of expertise from those who are involved in the development, use and/or deployment of digital/AI solutions in health, and who have a common goal to address complex health challenges. Good interdisciplinary training should synergize across fields to lead to better solutions, better health outcomes and/or better collaborations.

This survey contains 5 sections:
[1] information about your background,
[2] questions on gaps in training opportunities,
[3] questions on inadequacies in existing training activities,
[4] questions on training that you found to be exceptional,
[5] additional comments.

We have kept mandatory questions to a minimum and estimate that completing the survey will take 10–15 minutes.

Please share this survey with colleagues who have an interest in interdisciplinary digital health training, especially training initiatives based in Québec.

If you have any questions, please contact Celia Greenwood at celia.greenwood@mcgill.ca or luciana.escobar@rimuhc.ca

By completing this survey, you agree that the RSN may collect and analyze your responses for a needs assessment on interdisciplinary training in digital health/AI in Québec. Findings will be reported only as aggregated results and/or de-identified qualitative themes (e.g., in an RSN report).

Data will be stored securely, accessible only to the analysis team, and retained for 5 years before secure destruction. Providing identifying information is optional; when you submit this form, it will not automatically collect details like name and email address unless you provide them.

The RSN is launching a survey to better understand access, quality, and gaps in interdisciplinary training in digital health.

This survey is intended for anyone involved, directly or indirectly, in the development, use, or deployment of digital or AI solutions in healthcare.
