Sara Ahmed, PT, PhD, is a professor in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at McGill University and a researcher at the Centre for Research and Evaluation of Outcomes (CORE) at the RI-MUHC and the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation (CRIR). She is the Scientific Director of the FRQS Digital Health Network, which aims to advance the training of the next generation of scientists and innovators and accelerate the development, implementation, and evaluation of digital health innovations. She leads a person-centred digital health research program and is the Scientific Director of the BRILLIANT Learning Health Community project (https://www.brilliant-cfi.ca), part of a network of international Living Labs and Open Science initiatives. Her research focuses on improving the health of people living with chronic diseases. Her research explores the implementation of patient-centred digital health solutions and measures across care pathways to inform clinical and healthcare system decision-making.

The RSN is launching a survey to better understand access, quality, and gaps in interdisciplinary training in digital health.

This survey is intended for anyone involved, directly or indirectly, in the development, use, or deployment of digital or AI solutions in healthcare.
