This hybrid symposium at the RI-MUHC will discuss the pros and cons of the patient-in-the-loop data model as well as the barriers and facilitators to implementing it in Quebec.

​The one-day event will consist of an engaging mix of keynote presentations from international experts on patient access to data and panel discussions with patient partners, experts in value-based healthcare, digital health, and healthcare data sharing.

Presented by Dr. Leo Anthony Celi, Clinical research director and principal research scientist at the MIT Laboratory for Computational Physiology (LCP). He practices as an intensive care unit (ICU) physician at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC).

The network aims to bring together expertise and resources in digital health and quantitative methods in Quebec and will contribute to consolidating the ecosystem of researchers and stakeholders from Quebec and elsewhere.
